Dr Haghri graduated from the University of London in 2011 with Honours. He was awarded the prestigious Centenary Award at the Dental School’s 100 years celebration for his efforts and achievements while reading Dentistry.  After training at the Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry he gained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons and the Faculty of General Dental practitioners. While working as a senior house officer in the Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Department of the Royal Surrey Hospital he completed a diploma in Primary Dental Care at Kent University and won an award for his presentation at a Regional Audit event.

Dr Haghri is one of the one of the founders of Shades-Clinic with Dr Sundeep Rooprai.

Since qualifying he has worked in primary dental care as well as secondary care and he has gained considerable experience in oral surgery and also in maxillofacial surgery. As well as all aspects of General Dentistry, Dr Haghri treats complex cases, ranging from smile makeovers, cosmetic treatments and surgical procedures (often under sedation). He has been practising non-surgical facial aesthetics for the past four years and he is capable of achieving consistent and excellent results. His treatment ethos is patient-centred and his constant aim is to create or restore normal function and natural beauty.

He is the winner of Aeshtetic Dentistry Awards 2016 for excellence of his clinical work which has been recognised by the dental profession.

Dr Haghri is a national author of a free knowledge-based business assessment tool that helps dentists across the UK with their practice purchase plans and he is often invited to give consultancy advice on the management and marketing of dentistry.

At the age of 17, he was one of the pioneers of a charitable organisation helping youngsters overcome their life difficulties by taking them into educational camps, for which he received a prestigious national award from Deutsche Bank London. Since then Dr Haghri has set up a number of national and international charitable organisations that concentrate on helping the less- privileged with their education and career progression.

He comes from a multinational background and was brought up in a mixed cultural community in the heart of London. He has a good command of four languages and his extensive experience of a multicultural society has given him strong communication abilities which he uses for the benefit of his patients.

He lives in London with his family and enjoys spending time with them as well as taking part in various sporting activities.

Sundeep graduated with Honours from the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry as one of the top students in his year.  He excelled during his undergraduate education; achieving distinction in 4 out of 5 years, he also won 4 dental awards and was nominated for the prestigious University of London Gold Medal.

He successfully completed his year in The London deanery where he won many plaudits for his case presentation entitled “Use of Adhesive Dentistry in the Management of a Worn Dentition”. Following this Sundeep worked as a Senior House Officer at Barts NHS trust in Community Dentistry and Oral and maxillofacial surgery. This involved treating patients who are very anxious about attending the dentist. During this year, he was elected a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after gaining a diploma for a membership of The Faculty of Dental Surgery. Following this Sundeep completed his hospital training at Kings College Hospital in Oral Surgery.

He regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry and to give him a wealth of knowledge and confidence to successfully carry out a wide range of treatments. Sundeep has also presented his hospital work on both a national and international level on the uses of sedation to treat anxious patients.

Behind each smile is a person and Sundeep understands the importance of listening and making sure you are completely at ease. From the initial consultation to treatment, his friendly, calm and approachable chair side manner makes dentistry a breeze! He has built up a reputation of providing pain free quality treatment with a unique ability of putting the most nervous patients at ease. Sundeep has a special interest in restorative dentistry especially teeth whitening, endodontics and cosmetic orthodontics.

Sundeep is one of the founders of Shades Clinic with Dr Saeid Haghri. He has also been involved with creating the UKs first national dental practice assessment tool, the fire ant assessment, and is actively involved with the Make a Dentist charitable campaign.

Whilst not at work, Sundeep likes to keep fit by regularly attending the gym and playing football and squash. He is a keen Liverpool supporter. He also enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures and culinary delights!

Talia started working at Shades Clinic as a student dental nurse and was able to become fully competent within weeks of starting the program; which normally takes many 18 months to master.

She showed great leadership skills from the start of her career at Shades Clinic by taking on extra roles as a dental nurse to ensure high standards within the practice. She was promoted to lead dental nurse soon after her employment with the company. Having done a great job as a Lead dental nurse she was soon promoted to Regional Manager or Shades Group clinics which has historically never happened within Dentopedia organisation.

Talia is now working alongside the owners of Dentopedia Group to set up clinics across the UK.

She has ancestral backgrounds based in England and Austria and spent her childhood growing up in London. Outside of dentistry, Talia likes to keep fit by regularly attending the gym and cycling. She also enjoys reading, going to concerts and travelling.

DDM Iasi

Dr Vavalekas has been placing implants for many years and he is renowned for achieving high success rates.

He has a special interest in treatment of gum disease and he is currently finishing his masters in periodontal treatments He has worked with Dr Haghri, principal of Shades Clinic, for the past four years to treat patients holistically.

He enjoys spending time with his friends in his spare time whenever he has time to get away from books!

Dr Huda Jawad is an accomplished dentist with over 10 years of international experience and has a reputation of providing the highest standards of dental care to her patients.

Huda practices and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a specialist interest in cosmetic treatments and thrives on transforming her patients smiles and self-confidence through minimally invasive procedures such as whitening and composite restorations as well as advanced restorative treatments like porcelain veneers and crowns. She has reinforced her passion and knowledge through her Masters in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry for which she received a distinction from Manchester University.

Additionally Huda has a BSc in Psychology. Her thesis and modules were healthcare related which has given her an added insight into the management and understanding of patient’s fears, needs and expectations. This together with her warm and caring nature has allowed her to enjoy a strong rapport and trust with her patients.

Huda has two young children and enjoys spending time with them, travelling and practising yoga.

Dr Elena Shahir graduated from the University of Leeds and did further work as a Senior House Officer (SHO) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Surrey for a year, before commencing her Speciality training in Prosthodontics at Kings College London.

She has a special interest in full mouth rehabilitations – transforming your entire mouth to an exceptional cosmetic and functional standard.

She is dedicated to restoring your self-confidence in your smile using all the new methods and techniques.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Shahir loves travelling and learning languages.

BDS (KCL) BSc(Hons)

Dr Hayley graduated from King’s college university. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry such as Invisalign and advanced restorative treatment and as a result has since undertaken a Diploma in restorative and Aesthetic dentistry.

She enjoys learning and continues to advance her knowledge to ensure she can provide great results and will be commencing a Diploma in porcelain veneers and occlusion.

Outside of dentistry, you will find Hayley out on walks with her dog, reading a book or practicing yoga.

Anahid graduated from South London College (Dental Technology) and since has had extensive experience in the field of Dental Technology.

Ms Anhid Ghobdi Fard’s background is composed of Dental Technology and CQC Registered Manager which have equipped her in becoming a valuable member of the Shades Clinic team.

Ms  Ghobadi Fard lives in London and enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbie are dance, language and sports.

Ms Ghobadi Fard took part in voluntary work in 2010 to 2012 and and has a passion in giving something back to the community.
